Comprehensive Revision

Our 4 Day Junior Cert Maths Easter Revision Course is the booster you need to ace your upcoming school or state exams. For 1 hour each day, we will break down the 4 most important parts of the syllabus and make it easy. 

We simplify each topic, help you practice only exam questions, and make sure each student is engaged and actively learning each day. Our syllabus for Junior Cert maths revision course is designed by state examiners, covering the 4 most important topics on the student’s course. Easter is the perfect time to revise!

Course Details

  • 4-day course beginning on the 11th of April
  • 1-hour Maths class each day 
  • Comprehensive Maths notes based on previous questions
  • All classes via Zoom
  • Day 1 is free to try! It’s €189 if you would like to continue

Easter Course Outline

Day 1 - Algebra

Algebra counts for about 25% of the Junior Cert Maths Exam. It is the foundation of Maths. We will cover: 

  • Algebraic Fractions
  • 4 forms of Factorising
  • Solving Linear equations
  • Simultaneous Equations

*Note: 1st years work on Algebra Introduction*

Day 2- Functions

Functions are a follow on form Algebra. It accounts for 10-15% of the Paper 1 questions. We will cover:

  • Subbing in/out of Functions
  • Interpreting Graphs
  • Word Problems
  • Max/Min problems on graphs

*Note: 1st years work on Algebra Part 2*

Day 3 - Co-ordinate Geometry

Co-ordinate Geometry forms about 20% of paper 2 in the Junior Cert. With knowledge of the key concepts of Coordinate geometry, a student can achieve high marks on this topic.

  • Understanding formulas
  • Area of triangles
  • Finding & using Slope
  • Circle word problems
  • Finding Equations of the Line

*Note: 1st years work on Fractions*

Day 4 - Trigonometry

Trigonometry is examined in paper 2 in the Junior Cert. It accounts for around 15% of the given marks in paper 2 and can come up in the short or long questions in the paper. We will cover:

  • Applications of Pythagoras theorem
  • Using Sin/Cos/Tan
  • Finding angles
  • Complex word questions

You can sign up now, for a free trial of the Easter Course, which begins on Tuesday the 11th of April on our website.

How much is the Easter Course?

Day 1 (Tuesday the 19th) is completely free to try. It is €189 thereafter if students would like to continue with the revision course.

How many students are in the class?

The class sizes will be limited to 10 students per group. All students will be engaged and asking questions in the classes.
