What Our Leaving Cert Grinds Will Cover:
The goal of the 4th year course is to set up our students to easily understand and excel in 5th year. We ensure students fix any mistakes or gaps in knowledge from their Junior Cert. This course is the perfect platform to get a step ahead on their Leaving Cert. The curriculum is based on Leaving Cert exam questions. In this course we teach:
- Algebra (Basic & Intermediate)
- Logs
- Functions
- Calculus (Basic & Intermediate)
- Trigonometry
Our 5th year OL course covers over 70% of the content on the Leaving Cert Ordinary Level exam. We teach all the topics associated with paper 1 on the Leaving Cert and some of the paper 2 topics. The topics we teach include:

- Sequences & Series
- Statistics
- Trial Mock Exams
Our 5th year HL course covers over 70% of the content on the Leaving Cert Higher Level exam. We teach all the topics associated with paper 1 on the Leaving Cert and some of the paper 2 topics. The topics we teach include:

Our 6th year OL course is split into 2 different courses. Meet Our Maths Tutors:
Conor O’Donoghue
Conor is 1st Class Economics and Finance graduate from UCD. He achieved a H1 in Maths and his love for Maths stemmed from his mother – also a Maths teacher. A proud Kerry man, Conor has travelled extensively across the world – from helping to build schools in Nicaragua to surfing the coasts of Spain and Portugal.
Conor loves our personal approach to teaching. Teachers should be inspirational – they should be there to help and encourage you whenever you have a problem. Conor is a born leader and gifted at listening to students.

Kate o'Donovan
Kate O’Donovan is from Clonakility. She achieved a H1 in Maths in her Leaving Cert and she is studying financial Maths in UCC.
Kate coaches swimming in her local community. Each summer, you will find her coaching camps to 100’s of students. She has a natural gift for teaching!
Kate has over 4 years tutoring experience. Her cool, calm and organized approach to teaching particularly suits students in exam years. Kate teaches Leaving Cert classes at Breakthrough Maths.
